Credit(WWE) With WrestleMania 42 now in the books what is the future of WWE?

WrestleMania 42 is in the books and it's safe to say it was a wild one. Honestly this was probably the most predictable WrestleMania's ever and that's not a good thing. WWE needs to level it up in the next 12 months to make up for a lackluster WrestleMania. Alot happened and I am here to break down a few of them that went down

1. Roman Reigns is the 2017-2018 Part Time Brock Lesnar role

   
   

Yes, Roman is the champion again and that means he will defend only when it matters. Brock Lesnar did it as universal champion years back and now Roman will do the same. He will only show up for the Big PLE so we might not see him again until the summer.

2. Is Brock Lesnar done?

It's looking like Brock Lesnar is done for good. I mean leaving the gloves in the ring is wow. I hope this isn't really for it Brock at least one more match but if it's well deserved. He is a future hall of famer and did a lot for WWE he made them plenty of money. It's crazy over the last seven months we have seen John Cena, AJ Styles and now Brock Lesnar the old era is over folks as we know it.

3. Drew McIntyre needs to rebuilt.

As a Drew McIntyre fan it was frustrating. It's been a disappointing 2026. He won the world title only to lose it on a random SmackDown. He came up short against Jacob Fatu this weekend. At this point Drew needs to go away for a while there is no momentum right now (not his fault).

4. Randy Orton should have been world champion

I have no idea what was going on here. WWE spent the last few months selling us on a Randy Orton 15th world title win. Only to have him in a lose in confusing fashion and RKO to Pat McAfee. This was Randy Orton last chance to win big gold on the biggest stage and it didn't happen. The feud will continue but it's hard to be excited now about another Rhodes vs Orton match.

5. Bron Breakker vs Seth Rollins will be the feud of our summer 2026.

I am generally glad Bron is back and he cost Seth his match. That means a hell of feud coming up and I am all for it. These two guy were vision homeboys but now Bron is the student looking to master the teacher. They will run Raw while Roman is out and either one could be his next challenger.

6. Shame on WWE for dropping the ball on Jade Cargill

Another one of those wtf decisions. Jade Cargill was set up to fail from the start of her world title reign. She didn't defend much and felt like a transition champ which didn't make sense. Jade Cargill was supposed to represent the next era of women wrestling and she lost to Rhea who is fantastic but didn't need the title right now. Maybe Jade recovers to win big again but for now it's hard to see and hopefully don't drop to mid card. Wow

7. The future of WWE was on display

If there's one thing I can say WWE is going to be interesting. As I stated WrestleMania 42 represented the end of era long gone(John,AJ,& Brock) to name a few. Now it's guy's like Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Penta, Liv Morgan and more. These guys will dominate the next era of WWE for the next decade and honestly I am excited to see it. That was best the part of WrestleMania 42 the young talent shine and will only continue.
