In doing end-of-season reviews. The Toronto Raptors were a revelation this season. Expectations weren't high for them coming into the season, as I can remember. Yet they won plenty of games and were one of the most underrated teams on the national radar in recent memory. I have three questions about where this team goes from here.

  1. What will they do with the roster?

In looking at the roster, it's interesting for them. Toronto has one free agent, and that's Garrett Temple. Toronto also has control of its draft picks, providing flexibility for them to do a big-time move. If anything, adding another big man or some more offense scoring to help with their three-point shooting. This is a solid roster that is capable of getting better. Now it's up to the front office to keep it going.

  1. Will they use those draft picks for Giannis?

The Raptors have flexibility. Will they go star hunting? Giannis is likely going to be traded this offseason, and Toronto makes a lot of sense for him. He has two relevant stars in Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram to give them a big three. For Toronto, it's giving up a few draft picks and likely a few guys like RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.

  1. Future outlook?

For Toronto, winning 46 games is a massive upgrade. Can we give this franchise some credit? They've always been a mid-tier good. This offseason, they must ask themselves whether they will continue to let the core get better or go trade for Giannis to make a statement. Either way, this team is going to be a factor in the East next season with a chance to be a top-six seed again.
