NBA First Round Western Conference Predictions

It's the NBA playoffs and that means it's go big or go home. In the NBA premier conference that rings true. The Western Conference is going to be lit on this side of the bracket. We going to see can OKC repeat, Two future hall of famers square off, and maybe the beginning of another dyansty in San Antonio just to name a few. Here are my predictions and as well know in the playoffs anything can happen.

(1) Thunder vs (8) Suns

When I look at this series it has the potential to be the classic number one seed overcomes a feisty challenger. OKC has deep roster, likely two MVP and yea they are loaded. On the other side Phoenix Suns has been a feel good story this season. This team was supposed to be a dumpster fire for years to come (Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks) and solid supporting cast for sure. The Suns won't win this series but they won't be a pushover they are just a foil in OKC quest for another title.

(4) Lakers vs (5)Rockets

This is going to be a historic playoff series for the obvious reason Lebron vs KD. Two of the biggest stars in the NBA could be facing each other for the last time. It's also marks the end of the NBA as we come to know because both guys are nearing the end of legendary careers. It's been a good season for the Lakers who have overcome challenges. Yet with Luka and Austin reeves out it's going to be an uphill battle. Does Lebron have one more super playoff run left? On the other side the Houston Rockets haven't quite lived up to the standard yes we knew about the point guard position and Steven Adams going down. The Rockets are still hell of talented. This series has six game potential I won't count out Lebron but KD Rockets needs to win big here

(3) Nuggets vs (6) Timberwolves

If the first round is going to have a seven game series it's this one. The Denver Nuggets are obviously good because Jokic is that dude and this team has talent of course. On the other side the Timberwolves are solid and we know playoff Anthony Edwards is real and this team has made the conference finals two years in a row. It's going to be a coin toss I am going with the Nuggets.

(2) Spurs vs (7) Trail Blazers

It's been a while since both of these teams been in the playoffs. The beginning of great run is ahead with San Antonio they are right on schedule. With Wemby and the crew they are bound to be in this position for a while. On the other side the Trail Blazers have had a good season watching guys like Deni, Jrue and the rest come together. This series is going to be short. I am predicting sweep here.
