There's been plenty of surprises this NBA season, and one of them has been the Phoenix Suns. Considering the disastrous Big Three era (KD, Beal, and Booker) from previous years. It was right to expect low expectations from this team. With a new head coach and a bunch of role supporting players, they exceeded expectations. The Suns were the hardest-playing team in the league this season, but they were swept in the first round by OKC. The Phoenix season was incredible, and now I have three questions about where they go from here

  1. Do they try to make a splash this offseason?

The Suns might want to capitalize on their recent success. We know ownership is bold, and they want to get it right. The question is, who do they get? I mean, they might not get the Giannis or Kawhi, realistically, it's not star-studded free agency, how about Coby White or Kristaps?

  1. The roster, what do they do?

The Suns have some roster problems with player options, guys like Jalen Green, Collin Gillispie, and Mark Williams. Likely, they will exercise player options to keep the roster to run it back. We know the Suns have a point guard problem and might need another big man.

  1. Future Outlook

Next season will be interesting for the Phoenix Suns. Their franchise player, Devin Booker, remains committed, and it's up to the front office to put a solid cast around him. For the Suns, they might explore avenues to get better. Realistically, it wouldn't be a surprise if they are once again in a play-in team that will play hard, get in the playoffs, and get bounced out in the first round.
