Who is going to win the Kyler Murray sweepstakes? That is a question many ask, and honestly, it makes sense. As recently reported Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray are closing the chapter on each other when the new league year begins. Let's be honest, the 2026 quarterback carousel isn't that interesting. That leaves Kyler Murray as the top target, sure, he is not a top ten, but you could say he is in the range of mid to early 20s. Plenty of quarterback-needy teams exist as they do every year, and the team that signs him needs to have a long-term commitment in mind. Here are a few teams that can really sign and win the sweepstakes.

Someone in the Browns' front office is probably talking themselves into Kyler being their guy. The Browns do not have a great history at the position. We don't have to go into history to see turnover. What can the Browns do to convince him? We have a great stadium, a fantastic fanbase, Myles Garrett, and then, yeah, come join us. Seriously, Kyler may give the team some upside. They have a young running back in Quishon Jenkins and Jerry Jeudy. Outside of that, you sign Kyler, and it's still hard to see them competing for a playoff spot or maybe they be solid bad.

Who knows what the Pittsburgh Steelers are doing at the position under center? They may run back with Aaron Rodgers for another season with Mike McCarthy in town. Kyler Murray is an upgrade in 2026 and, honestly, can be a long-term option. The Steelers, as I mentioned in the previous article, have to get some exciting pieces, especially at receiver. Their pitch is simple, we are the Steelers and on our standard is still the best. So Kyler could be interested in chasing a wildcard spot in Pittsburgh as they do every year.

The Ny Jets need a quarterback. Stop me if you heard this before. The Jets are interesting; they have a hell of a cap space, Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, and then a bad defense. But Kyler Murray is the best fit for this team; having two dynamic players already helps. The Jets as we know, will do what they do best. Their pitch: Guaranteed nothing and proceed with caution.

Somewhere along the way in Twin City, Kevin O Connell is jumping at the opportunity to land Kyler, and he is not wrong. Minnesota makes a hell of a sense for Kyler, and they have the history of making quarterbacks elite(see: Sam Darnold). Kyler would be excellent, you have Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson to throwthe ball to. A very talented defense, Minnesota is the most sure playoff caliber team he could join. Their pitch is simple: we turn failed first-round quarterbacks into MVP-caliber guys. A career redemption here, they still have McCarthy on the roster, but Kyler is the guy if they want to win, and please keep him beyond one season.

The Atlanta Falcons are interesting. Kyler Murray would be a tremendous plug-and-play here. Atlanta has an elite offense in Bijan and Drake, a talented defense, and a proven head coach in Kevin Stefanski. The only question here is, are they still committed to Michael Penix Jr? Yet if I'm the front office, I would do whatever it takes to land him. They are a solid quarterback away from contending in a weak NFC South. Their pitch is simple: Just give the Bijan ball. This is your chance, Atlanta, to finally get it right.
