The NFL offseason rules don't, it. It's only June, and we are already looking forward to a potential Super Bowl winner. Myles Garrett gets a huge win here for finally getting the hell out of a bum ass franchise in the Cleveland Browns. He is a generational talent who has only been to the postseason, I believe, twice in a legendary career. Now he gets the chance to play for a competent organization and one that keeps pulling moves like this. The LA Rams are the franchise known for saying fuck those draft picks, and they back it up because they have a championship to show for it.

The LA Rams are the frontrunners

The LA Rams were already going to win a lot of games this season. They have an elite offense with Matthew Stafford and a good defense. Knowing the front office, they obviously had ideas, and I mean, going out trading for a generational all-time great in Myles will do. The LA Rams mean business, and in the NFC that features the likes of Seahawks, 49ers, Eagles, Lions, etc. Of course, the only thing stopping the Rams from winning it all is injuries; that's reality because a few key players getting hurt changes everything. Yet if the universe allows it, I am down to seeing them represent the NFC and host another Super Bowl on their home turf.

The Cleveland Browns are at least honest

Normally, I would be shaking my head at the latest dumb move of the Cleveland football. This might have been the smartest decision ever. Trading away Myles makes sense because this team is a long way from being a contender. Getting back Jared Verse and some draft picks is smart. The Browns have admitted they are a shit bad organization by trading Myles, and I applaud it because this season was always going to be a wash. The Browns have made bad decisions like firing Kevin Stefanski, giving up on Baker Mayfield for Deshaun Watson(Yikes), and not allowing Jim Schwartz to coach, to name a few.

Final takeaway

I believe this trade is a win for all involved at the end of the day. Cleveland gets multiple opportunities at a franchise quarterback going forward(hello 2027 NFL draft). The LA Rams will keep saying fuck those draft picks if it keeps landing hits like this. Myles Garrett will spend the next few seasons scaring NFC West quarterbacks and being great. Will Myles Garrett be the X factor to a 2027 Rams Lombardi trophy, or will the Browns reap what they sow if all goes south in LA?
