The second round of the NBA playoffs is here. As I stated, anything can happen in the playoffs; we saw that with upsets like the 76ers and Timberwolves. Now, eight teams remain, and I am here to predict who will emerge next.

  1. Knicks vs 76ers

It's a divisional rivalry in the postseason. I didn't expect the 76ers to be in this round, so I can't ignore them. The Knicks are battle-tested and the better team. Both of these teams are coming off grueling series, which makes it better. I am going with the Knicks, and they will take them in six games.

  1. Pistons vs Cavaliers

These two teams are coming off game 7 performances. Detroit should feel motivated to overcome a 3-1 lead to win. While the pressure is extra for a Cleveland team that is as win-now as it can be. This is going to be a really good series, and I am going with the Pistons in 7 games.

  1. Spurs vs Timberwolves

We are on a collision course with the Spurs' dominance; they made light work of the Trail Blazers. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves prove they are about that life without their franchise star in knocking out the Nuggets. Anthony Edwards will likely be back, and if that's the case, we see a 7-game series here.

  1. Lakers vs Thunder

OKC is really the best team in the league, sweeping the Suns. While the Lakers provided the upset by knocking out the Rockets. If Luka and Austin Reeves come back, this could be a game 7 series. If not, OKC is going to win the series either way. I am flipping a coin toss with OKC winning in five games.
