Super Bowl 60 is finally upon us, and it's a rematch from a previous rematch that, as we know, just gives beast mode the ball. This championship is different because there's no Kansas City Chiefs or Philadelphia Eagles; instead, it's a fresh matchup. Considering how there's been no consensus great team this season, the winner of this game deserves it.
I haven't watched a lot of Seattle Seahawks football games this season, yet this team is good. Watching Sam Darnold get to play in a Super Bowl and maybe win it is one of the greatest comeback stories that Hollywood could write. We could talk about their explosive wide JSN and the second coming of Legion of Boom defense. On the other side, a familiar team is back in it, the New England Patriots, yes, they have Drake Maye, an underrated running game, and a defense that gets after the ball. I watched several New England Patriots and was impressed that they play complementary football, folks. Yes, there is an agrument they have some of the best postgame victory speeches in the league.
As far as the game on sunday I expect it to be a typical grueling one, not a high scoring game. These two defenses will determine the outcome that will be decided in the fourth quarter. Seattle is battle-tested coming out of a tough NFC and literally overcoming the Rams to advance. New England has an easier route; some of the teams they played in the postseason was uninspring, yet they won because they are well coached.
Super Bowl 60 represents an interesting dynamic. Get ready for some random teams making the Super Bowl, which is good for the fans and the league; well, they adjust. Neither one of these teams was the favorite heading into the season. We didn't know what to expect from Sam Darnold, but Mike Vbrael turnt the Patriots into a contender overnight. As fans of the game, we want to see matchups like this. There are so many storylines, such as will the Seahawks win, kickstart their run as the Class of NFC? If the New England Patriots win, is this the beginning of another dynasty? Sam Darnold winning the Super Bowl could change the way teams quickly give up on young quarterbacks.
