Trick Williams is Ready for the Ride

Trick Williams has been one of the biggest risers over the last year. He is a throwback to a bygone era, like the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Era. Yes, there's plenty of Booker T comparison, yet the reality is Trick Williams is that dude. Winning the United States title at Wrestlemania 42 was a moment we will remember for years to come.
The United States title is often known for elevating new stars into the main event scene. Guys like John Cena, Kevin Owens, and Damien Priest, just to name a few, all went on to world titles. Trick Williams will do the same if WWE remains committed to him in the long term.
What I want to see for Trick Williams ' U.S. title reign isn't just a fighting champion. A champion who can elevate the title on the blue brand, like open challenges and storylines worth watching. Let this championship be the beginning of what can come. Realistically, he should drop the title at some point later this year. If he's that good, he could be a frontrunner to win the Royal Rumble in 2027 and main-event WrestleMania 43.
For now, the ball is in Trick Williams court, and what he does over the next few months will determine whether ''Whoop the trick'' is just a slogan for the now or something else. If I am betting individually, he will likely take the U.S. title to new heights and make it a weekly viewing point. So will Trick Williams continue to ride on " whoop that trick' to the main event' or just be a midcard hype act?
