WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Predictions

WrestleMania 42 is here, and as we know, it's the biggest paper view of the year. This year's card has some interesting matches that will set the stage for WWE going forward. What I believe this is the WrestleMania that sees the old era (Brock, CM Punk, Roman) and enters new stars(Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Jade Cargill, to name a few). We are seeing two eras collide at once, and it shall be a better Mania than the build-up to it. Here are my night one predictions since WrestleMania is a two-day event.

The Usos vs The Vision & Ishow Speed
Apparently this will be a six-man tag match. Look the Usos, LA Knight and The Vision have been feuding for a century. There is nothing at stake here since the tag titles are not on the line. Adding iShow Speed is just more viral than the match it's for the moment(WWE says). It's a shame that Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed are out. So I am flipping a coin toss, and can I say how mighty Jey Uso has fallen? A year ago, he was winning the world title, and now this damn. I am going with the Usos and Knight to win here.
Final Pick- Usos and Knight

Unsanctioned Match: Jacob Fatu Vs Drew McIntyre
It's crazy that Drew McIntyre lost his world title on SmackDown. As I digress, these two are bound to give us one of the lethal matches in Wrestlemania history. Drew was responsible for knocking out Jacob, and now he wants revenge. Jacob cost Drew the title, and now these two have been going at war. I would like Jacob Fatu; he needs the win here, and yeah, sure, Drew deserves to win after he was rightfully screwed out by the powers to be. A Jacob Fatu win could put him right up in line for a world title match
Final Pick- Jacob Fatu wins

Raw Women's title match: Stephanie Vacquer Vs Liv Morgan
I have to admit their feud hasn't been lit to this point. I am confident that they will have a good match. For Vacquer, this is an opportunity to show she is the future of the women's division. Liv Morgan did win the Royal Rumble, and she has been quite the challenger. So Vacquer a loss at Wrestlemania is likely, but having a good performance here will set up her long-term. Liv Morgan will win here, and we could see her hold the title all the way to next year's Wrestlemania.

Women's IC Title Match: AJ Lee Vs Becky Lynch
This dream feud has lost a lot of momentum over the last few months. In my last prediction, I had Lynch winning, and then it did not happen. This time around, I am still team Lynch for one obvious reason: she can get it done on the grandest stage. Lee has been fine as champ, but losing here just makes sense since I don't see her defending all the way to SummerSlam.
Final Pick: Becky Lynch Wins IC title

Women's Tag Titles Match: Irrestible Force Vs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss Vs The Bella Twins
The Women's tag title match should be a lot of fun. I think this will be one of the easiest matches to predict. Flair & Bliss already had the titles. The Irresistible Force is the current champs, and the Bella twins never held it. So this doesn't need much explaining. Bella Twins win here
Final Pick- Bella Twins win tag titles

Seth Rollins Vs Gunther
This is just one of the matches to get two of the best guys on the planet on the card. It felt like WWE went directionless here because Gunther had a hell of a 2025; he retired John Cena and AJ Styles, yet that's all he's done. Seth Rollins is the same; he was leading the vision with the world title until he wasn't, and now in the same situation. Match of the night and match of the year exist here. This is the hardest match to predict on night one. I am flipping a coin toss and going with Seth Rollins here.
Final Pick: Seth Rollins wins

Undisputed World title match: Cody Rhodes Vs Randy Orton
This has been one of the best stories leading into Mania. These two go way back; it's the classic student vs teacher story. Randy Orton's reasoning for his heel turn is simple: he wants to win his 15th world title. Cody Rhodes is that dude, and sure, Cody's latest title reign feels short here. Yeah, adding Pat McAfee to this feud makes no sense (WWE says), but it's for the moment. This is likely Randy Orton's last chance to win big at Wrestlemania. He gets the 15th title win, and a fun fact, two years in a row Cody will get over to put a hall of famer(John Cena did it last year).
Final Pick- Randy Orton wins the World Title
